Somebody signed up in the shop
Write them into the class here, or the website keeps selling their seat to somebody else.
Cash or card, it is the same steps
Take their money the way you always do — cash in the drawer, card on the Square machine. Then come here and write it down. Nothing on this page charges anybody.
Open the class list
Sign in if it asks. It is the same page for every class, so this button never goes out of date.
Click the name of the class
The page lists your classes. Each one looks about like this. Click the name.

Click the date they are coming
Look down the right-hand side for a small box headed Classes. Every date that class runs is listed there. Click the one they signed up for.

Click + Attendee
It is the black button under the word Attendees.

✚ Attendee
Keep an eye on “slots available.” That is the number the website is still selling. It should drop by one when you are finished.
Type their first and last name
A form opens with the class, date and time already filled in. Only the two name boxes matter. Leave Phone and Email empty if you do not have them.

Scroll to the bottom and click Schedule Appointment.
Click their name in the list
You land back on the class. Their name is now in the list underneath. Click straight on it.
Write down how they paid
On their page, scroll to Payment and click this black button:

MAKE PAYMENT
A panel slides out from the right. Do these four things:

Notes Optional
Amount ($)
PAY
1. Click Cash — use this even when they paid by card on the Square machine.
2. In Notes, write how they really paid: cash, or card on the Square machine.
3. The Amount should already be filled in. If it is empty, type the class price.
4. Click PAY.
That PAY button does not charge anyone
Because Cash is selected, it only writes the payment down in the class record. No card is touched. The money you already took stays where you put it.
You may see a line underneath about the cardholder’s permission. Ignore it. That is for the card option, not this one.
Two people paying together?
At step 5, before you save, click the small arrow beside Schedule Appointment. A box appears saying Schedule ___ spots total. Put the number of seats in there and save once.
Two things not to do
Do not use the Paid tick box under Edit. It turns the badge green but it does not record the money, so the class income disappears from your reports. Always go through MAKE PAYMENT.
Do not change “Max number of people.” That is how many chairs the room holds. It is not a way to fix the count.
Use the shop computer for this. You need to be signed in to Acuity, and the buttons are too small to hit on a phone.
New classes appear on the class list by themselves. Nobody has to update this page when the schedule changes.
