Whimsical Artisans is the work of two women who love to make things. Jackie and her late husband Tom spent over 20 years making and selling — the hard-to-find, the vintage, the “where did you even get that?” And now she’s opening the doors to share that love of every kind of craft with the whole community. Tamie is a mother of four and grammy of one, a retired teacher who’s fallen head over heels for repurposed art — always dreaming up something new to make out of something old.

It started back in 2009 as Crafts by Jackie & Tom — handmade goods at fairs, bazaars, and by special order. Today, we’re opening a storefront at 912 W Garland Avenue in Spokane’s Garland District — a shop, a classroom, and a gathering place for the whole crafting community. Together we’ve built something affordable, welcoming, whimsical, and non-judgmental — a place where makers of every level, and every kind of person, feel right at home. Because your creativity should be as unique as you are.
